handpiece is placed gently against the skin and pulses
of intense light are delivered into the hairs. The simple

are destroyed by heat generated by the laser energy. The
laser beam has a large diameter so reaches several hair
follicles at one time. At the time of the treatment some
of the hairs are wiped off, however it can take up to two
weeks for all the treated hairs to fall out.

What to expect immediately after treatment
A reddening around the hair shaft may occur but is usually
minimal.

Expected outcome
Only hair follicles that are in their growing cycle will be
affected and so a number of treatments are recommended
four to six weeks apart to ensure the best results.
Occasional maintenance treatments may be required for a
long lasting results.
